US/World History

US and world history is particularly important for Chinese students to prepare for before they study abroad. In addition to being able to better understand the history and culture of the country they will be living and studying in, this course also allows them to be at the same level of their US classmates who already have a decent understanding of US and world history from their primary and middle school education.

US Physics

Tutors go over the common concepts of physics, which include the physical laws governing mechanics, electricity, magnetism, light, sound, and waves. Emphasis can be given to problem solving, which involves a relatively high level of understanding the question, terms and concepts in English. By 'pre' learning these terms and concepts, students will be able to go into their first physics class in the US with a strong background and familiarity of the terms and concepts in English, giving them a strong advantage.

US Chemistry

Tutors provide an introduction to the essential theories and applications of inorganic chemistry at the college-preparatory level. Major topics include atomic theory, periodicity, chemical bonding, equilibrium, acids and bases, and behaviors of gasses, liquids and solids. By 'pre' learning these concepts, students will be able to go into their first Chemistry class in the US with a strong background and familiarity of the terms and concepts in English, giving them a strong advantage.

US Biology

Our tutors go over the basic biological concepts as they apply to both plants and animals. They can go over the major biological themes, including cellular structure and function, molecular biology, metabolism, genetics and more depending on the amount of class time. By 'pre' learning these concepts, students will be able to go into their first Biology class in the US with a strong background and familiarity of the terms and concepts in English, giving them a strong advantage.
